CITY NAP TAPS SIEMENS TO SUPPLY SECURITY SYSTEM FOR STORAGE FACILITY

San Antonio Business Journal - December 7, 2006 - CityNAP will use a comprehensive all-digital closed circuit television security system to protect its facility to help protect its clients' sensitive data and vulnerable server hardware. Those services will be provided by Illinois-based Siemens Building Technologies Inc.

San Antonio-based CityNAP, which opened about a year ago, provides businesses of all sizes with an environmentally controlled and secure storage location for their networking systems. The facility is equipped with backup power systems.

CityNAP provides users with a dedicated network access point to the Internet. This is a junction where two or more backbone networks are connected on the Internet. Currently seven major fiber networks meet at CityNAP.

Siemens Building Technologies employs 7,200 people and provides a full range of services and solutions from more than 100 locations coast-to-coast.
